3 New Players!

Somerset has signed 3 new players including 2 former big leaguers to the team for the 2nd half. Jeff Dominguez, David Purcey, and Daryle Ward are now Somerset Patriots as lets start off with Jeff Dominguez as he spent time in Triple-A with the White Sox organization as he had 805 hits, 329 RBI, and 35 HRs out of 920 minor league games played. now onto David Purcey, Purcey has played foe the Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, Oakland A's, and Chicago White Sox as he most recently played for Chicago last season as he had a 2.13 ERA (oh yeah i forgot to tell you, he is a pitcher) with 23 Strikeouts with 25 innings pitched all as he also has spended some time in Triple-A. Now lets talk about Daryle Ward, Ward has Major League Experance with the Astros, Dodgers, Pirates, Nationals, Braves, and the Cubs as his last MLB season was with the Cubs back in 2008 as he has played in 948 Major League games over 11 seasons with 588 hits, 90 HRs, and 379 RBI as he also has played 10 seasons of Triple-A as he has recorded 803 RBI with a .295 Batting Average.
